The 12th Day of Christmas – Twelve Drummers Drumming Mocktail Recipe

I was really excited to have participated in creating a mocktail recipe, inspired by  one of the 12 Days of Christmas organised by Innocent Drinks. It was great to have been given this opportunity, where twelve bloggers were selected to participate in this creative event to make a cocktail with some juices from Innocent. The day I have been given to own and be inspired by is the 12th Day of Christmas – Twelve Drummers Drumming.

For me, Christmas can be so much associated with the taste of cinnamon and clove. Also, the idea of the alcoholic drink – mulled wine that is greatly flavoured by cinnamon, clove and orange came to my mind. For those non-alcoholic drinkers, the mocktail I have come out with – Twelve Cinnamon Drummers Drumming would be an ideal drink for the festive season. I have chosen to use smooth orange juice and blood orange juice to add the colour intensity for the resemblance of the deep shade of mulled wine.

Of course, the most important is the infused cinnamon and clove flavour and slightly sweetened with honey. Overall, I just think this is a great combination and a very easy and tasty mocktail, very much inspired by Christmas.

Having created the mocktail recipe, Innocent Drink has taken a photo of it and make a very nice recipe card, which you could download in the recipe section! Many thanks to Clemmie for such great opportunity and experience!

Have aMerry Christmas and Happy Holidays! Will catch up with you all very soon when I return from France! 🙂
