What’s for dessert? I have to admit I am not a master in desserts making – there are still lots for me to learn. Baked apples is one of the easiest French desserts that I have learnt and could think of to win over time. Baked apples is a typical dessert from Normandy. You may know that Normandy region in France is famous for apples, cheeses, ciders, dairy products.. not forget for its famous seafood too!

To make baked apples, it’s important to have good quality of apples. The sweetness of the apples brings out this dish that you could ever imagine. I like to serve my baked apples slightly chilled. However, baked apples are usually served at room temperature. Raisins that I put to make baked apples are optional. The original baked apples are cooked without raisins added.
